God's Care:
Edited by Timothy M. Youngblood

Moses and the people that God had delivered out of Egypt had to get across
the Red Sea at night. Now, if they went on a narrow path, double file, the line
would be 800 miles long and would require 35 days and nights to get through.
So there had to be a space in the Red Sea, three miles wide so that they could
walk 5000 abreast to get over in one night. But then, there is another problem.
After they had crossed the red sea they had to camp out and this would mean
a campground two-thirds the size of the state of Rhode Island was required,
or a total of 750 square miles...think of it! This much space for camping every
time they stopped.
Moses and the people of God were in the desert, but what
was he going to do with them? How would they eat, or get water? Feeding two
or three million people requires a lot of food! According to the Quartermaster
General of the Army, it is reported that Moses would have to have had 1500 tons
of food each day to feed two or three million people. Did you know that to bring
that much food each day, would require two freight trains at least a mile long?
Besides you must remember, they were out in the desert, so
they would have to have firewood to use in cooking the food. This would take
4000 tons of wood and a few more freight trains, each a mile long, just for
one day. And what about the fact they would have to have water. Even if they
only were given enough water to drink a small amount, and wash a few dishes,
it would take 11,000,000 gallons each day, which would take a freight train
with tank cars, 1800 miles long! And think about what it would take to distribute
the water to everyone? And the most awesome thing to remember is that they were
out there for forty years.
Do you think Moses figured all this out before he left Egypt?
I think not! You see, Moses believed in God, and God took care of these things
for him. Now the question is, do you think God has any problem taking care of
all your needs? To guide and protect you as you go along your way. I want you
to know that His love is always with you, His promises are true and when we
give Him all our cares, we should know He will see us through.
Our God is truly an Awesome God!!
So when the road you're traveling on seems difficult at best, just remember to turn everything over to God and He will do the rest. Don't wonder if He will answer Just look for the answer He will give! Please pass this on to whom ever you want God to bless.
May God Bless you all.
