One Nation Under Who?
I just don't understand why a loving God would allow such a
terrible thing too happen! How many times have you heard someone say something
like that when a child is abducted, raped and murdered? This is a legitimate
question and I have asked it myself. Is it that God really does not exist,
or is it that God does not care? We think about how, even as a human with
sin in our flesh, we would take action if we could stop such evil things from
befalling a small innocent child, but yet the almighty God who has all power
and can see all things will not intervene! What is the answer? There
is an answer to this question but the big question is will we believe it when
presented to us? The answer will be very hard for many to believe because
it will require some truthful soul searching on our part. It will also require
some action and most people will read about this thinking that it is the
other person that needs to get it together.
Are we One Nation under God?
We have heard the famous phrase "One Nation under God" and it makes
many feel that it means we are under the protection of God and our laws as
well as our conduct are in agreement with God. It seems to set us apart from
the other Nations of this world because we are a good Nation and God is pleased
with us. Our founding fathers were very close to the ideas of God's understanding
of good laws for the people and by the people and as a result they set up
our system under the principles that every person was endowed by their creator.
They stated in part...“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that
all men are CREATED equal, that they are endowed by their CREATOR with certain
‘unalienable’ Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the
pursuit of Happiness” (July 4, 1776.)
Their hope was that the people would use these rights for the good of all thus bringing about blessings from God. Their other intent was that the people would teach and do those things written by God's own hand to Moses which is known as the Ten Commandments. Our founding fathers understood that to keep these Ten Commandments as a Nation along with the other points they made would insure our prosperity and growth into the greatest Nation on earth. They were very wise and correct in their understanding, however what they missed was that the richer a family or people become the more they think they no longer need God. Not only do such people think they no longer need God but they start lusting for more power and thus corruption becomes the menu of the day. It is the hard work on the farm that keeps us close to our creator because on a farm we see God's hand in our human needs on a repeated and very frequent cycle.
So what has happened in the last hundred years and have we as a Nation (Leaders and Citizens.) continued in the spirit of our founding fathers? Did you know that in 2006, the Department of Justice conducted numerous investigations into potential wrongdoing by members of Congress. The following members were probed by the DOJ:

Did you know that the U.S. Department of Justice reported that in 2004, an estimated 2.1 million burglary offenses were committed in the United States? In 2004, there were an estimated 1,237,114 motor vehicle thefts in the Nation. In 2004, there were an estimated 1,367,009 violent crimes nationwide. Of these, were aggravated assaults comprised of robbery, forcible rape and murder.

Roe v. Wade Did More Than Legalize Baby-Killing
In 1973, the Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision, in effect, destroyed not
only the Christian definition of "life," but, also the Christian
definition of what, in fact, constitutes a "nuclear family." Before
1973, our State civil laws recognized that when a husband and wife conceived
a child: 1. the husband was the father; 2. the wife was the mother; and, 3.
together with their child they constituted a "nuclear family." However,
with Roe v. Wade, the Court ruled that there is no child at conception. Today,
the State calls the child in the womb a "potential life," and as
long as the child is in the womb the husband is called the "prospective
father." In effect, Roe v. Wade stripped the husband of his right to
be legally recognized as the father of the child until the child is actually
born. By doing this, Roe v. Wade destroyed marriage and the family at their
core by defiling the marriage bed at the moment of conception.
The Bible, at Ephesians 5:23, says that "the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the Church." By illegal seizure of God's ordained authority, the State now gives the wife the sole and exclusive authority to "choose" between life and death and whether or not she allows her husband to be the father of "her" exclusive child. According to the State, if the mother chooses to kill her child by abortion, the father has no right and no legal remedy to save the life of his child. If he tries to stop his wife, either by force or by the mere threat of force, the police can arrest him and the courts can throw him in prison. The State strips the man of his God-ordained authority both as a father and as a husband at the moment of conception. In effect, the State maintaining "...a woman's right to choose" changed American society from being a patriarchal society to a matriarchal society. The father of the child is only the father of the child by permission granted him by his wife.
Again, the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision not only illegally seized God's ordained authority structure of the marriage covenant at conception, it also "tore up" the Biblical definition of a nuclear family and then "threw the pieces up into the air." Consequently, since 1973, "marriage" and "the family" have become political smorgasbords as judges and legislatures strive to redefine the fragments of these institutions." End quote.
Child abuse:
The Department of Health and Human Services released a survey estimating
that child abuse and neglect in the United States nearly doubled during the
seven years between 1986 and 1993. According to the HHS study, the number
of total child maltreatment instances that were investigated by state agencies
remained constant from 1986 to 1993; however, the percentage of cases investigated
declined dramatically. "It is shameful and startling to see that so many
more children are in danger and that proportionately fewer incidents are investigated,"
HHS Secretary Donna E. Shalala said. "Now states, schools, health care
professionals -- all of us -- must commit ourselves to investigating and preventing
child abuse with far greater effectiveness than we have seen in the past."
The report estimated the number of abused and neglected children increased
from 1.4 million in 1986, to over 2.8 million in 1993. The number of children
who were seriously injured quadrupled from about 143,000 to nearly 570,000.
Schools identified the largest number of children at risk, yet state services
investigated only 16 percent of these children. For the cases identified in
the study, less than 50 percent of children identified as maltreated by any
source (except law enforcement) were investigated by child protective services.

"Every two hours in America today a child dies of a gunshot wound."
Some experts have predicted that the coming storm of gang violence "will
be more brutal than anything Americans have ever confronted." According
to a report released by the Council on Crime in America, "America is
a ticking violent time bomb" and "there is little time remaining
to prepare for the blast." This report attributes the growth in juvenile
crime to the increase of adolescent males in coming years. It states that
"the number of boys ages 14 to 17 will rise by 500,000 - to about 8 million."
According to the report, "The State of Violent Crime in America,"
"for Blacks and Hispanics in that age group, the numbers will increase
by 28 percent and 50 percent, respectively." The reason for this is that
many youths in the United States are living in poverty and are "in places
where institutions of civil society - families, schools, churches, voluntary
associations - are proving too weak to keep them on the straight and narrow."
The report predicts that these future young men will be "more crime prone
than their predecessors: They will commit more serious crimes and will commit
more crimes against strangers."
War on Drugs
The U.S. federal government spent over $19 billion dollars in 2003 on
the War on Drugs, at a rate of about $600 per second. The budget

People Arrested for Drug Law Offenses this Year. (

Arrests for drug law violations in 2009 are expected to exceed the 1,841,182
arrests of 2007. Law enforcement made more arrests for drug abuse violations
(an estimated 1.8 million arrests, or 13.0 percent of the total number of
arrests) than for any other offense in 2007. Someone is arrested for violating

As of June 30, 2008, state and federal correctional authorities had jurisdiction
or legal authority over 1,610,584 prisoners. Additionally, 785,556 inmates
were held in custody in local jails, the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS)
in the Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice, announced today.
During the six months ending June 30, 2008, the prison population increased
by 0.8 percent, compared to 1.6 percent during the same period in 2007. The
local jail population increased by 0.7 percent during the 12-month period
ending June 30, 2008. Thirty Percent of those who murdered were younger than
21. Fifty-six percent of the violent felons convicted in the nation's 75 most
populous counties from 1990 through 2002 had a prior conviction record, 38
percent had a prior felony conviction and 15 percent had been previously convicted
for a violent felony. Thirty-six percent of the violent felons had at least
one active criminal justice status at the time of their arrest.
This included 18 percent on probation, 12 percent on release pending disposition of a prior case and 7 percent on parole. Six percent of the convicted violent felons were under the age of 18, and 25 percent were younger than 21, 10 percent of the convicted murderers were under the age of 18, and 30 percent were under 21. The data was gathered from a report that analyzed a sample of 9,000 convicted violent felons representing 33,000 cases from state courts in the most populous counties. These cases were selected during seven separate studies conducted in even-numbered years from 1990 through 2002. A sample of felony cases filed during the month of May was selected in each of these years. They were included in the analyses if the defendants were convicted of a violent felony. It was stated by the Human Rights Watch that according to the latest statistics from the U.S. Department of Justice, more than two million men and women are now behind bars in the United States. The country that holds itself out as the "land of freedom" incarcerates a higher percentage of its people than any other country. The human costs, wasted lives, wrecked families, and troubled children are incalculable, as are the adverse social, economic and political consequences of weakened communities, diminished opportunities for economic mobility, and extensive disenfranchisement.
Pagan Symbols
The Egyptians worshipped the sun, also known as Baal and the Obelisk was their
tool to do so. Now ask yourself, why would an ancient symbol right out of
Baal worship be placed as an official statue in the capital city of a Nation
that professes the creator God and His Son Jesus as the Savior? Have you ever
seen the Washington Obelisk with the lights on at the top? Baal is identified
as Satan by Jesus himself in Matthew 10:25, Mark.3:22-26, and Luke 11:15-19.
Sun worship is religious devotion paid to the sun either as a deity or as the symbol of a deity. Sun worship was practiced by the Iroquois, Plains, and Tsimshian peoples of North America and reached a high state of development among the Native Americans of Mexico and Peru. The Babylonians were sun worshipers, and in ancient Persia worship of the sun was an integral part of the elaborate cult of Mithras. The ancient Egyptians worshiped the sun god Ra. In ancient Greece the deities of the sun were Helios and Apollo. The worship of Helios was widespread; temples were built in Corinth, Argos, Troezen (no longer in existence), and many other cities, but the principal seat was on the island of Rhodes, (Greece) in the Dodecanese, where four white horses were sacrificed annually to the god and was one of the Seven Wonders of the World. A similar sacrifice was offered on the summit of Mount Hagios Elias, in the Taïyetos Mountains, in Laconia. In time virtually all the functions of Helios were transferred to the god Apollo, in his identity as Phoebus. A colossal statue:
Although we do not know the true shape and appearence of the Colossus of Rhodes,
modern reconstructions show the statue standing upright are more accurate
than older drawings. Although it disapeared from existence after an earth
quake, the ancient World Wonder inspired many people as well as modern
artists such as French sculptor Auguste Bartholdi best known by his famous
work: The Statue of Liberty. From this research we have found
that the Statue of Liberty was fashioned after a sun god. The sun rays that
come from behind the Statue of Liberty also show that it's in reality a sun
goddess and should be condemned by a nation that professes worship to the
true creator God of heaven whom has stated that we should destory them that
are no gods, but are dumb and cannot speak or help in time of need. The command
from the true God is "You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall
not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is
in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water
under the earth; Exod 20:3-4" (NKJ) See our research with pictures

This is the way satan gets people to worship and keep that which God commands us not to have. Remember the old saying, "Beware of Greeks bearing gifts?" The Statue of Liberty may seem like a good thing, after all it has such a profound meaning and it is embedded in our history so deep we could never get rid of it. Even if it is a sun goddess, we must keep it or we will enrage the people, right? What does God say? Jer 51:17-18. "Everyone is dull-hearted, without knowledge; every metalsmith is put to shame by the carved image; for his molded image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them. They are futile, a work of errors; in the time of their punishment they shall perish.
What Should this mean to Christians?
Gambling, Prostitution, Pornography, Drug abuse, Robbery and Murder, and the
acceptance of pagan idols and much more are sweeping our Nation in cities
like New York, Chicago, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Las Vegas Nevada to just
name a few. As we started this study we asked why God would allow evil things
to happen to small innocent children? We asked if God was even concerned,
or is He even there? The fact that many Christians don't want to face is that
God is there but we have left Him. Let's look at some scriptures to
find the answer. Let's listen to the words of Paul to Timothy concerning
a prophecy for the last days. He wrote..."But know this, that
in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves,
lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful,
unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers
of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers
of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people
turn away! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives
of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always
learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." 2 Tim
3:1-7.
So are we One Nation under God?
Does the prophecy listed above sound like what we researched concerning this
Nations lifestyle? Why is it that this Nation and world is like what Paul
described in the prophecy above? Let's read the answer from God's servant
John as we find recorded in the book of Revelation what could be just ahead
of us. It states…"And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally
wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed
the beast. So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast;
and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast?
Who is able to make war with him?" And he was given a mouth speaking
great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two
months. Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme
His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. It was granted to
him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority
was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell
on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in
the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If
anyone has an ear, let him hear. He who leads into captivity shall go into
captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here
is the patience and the faith of the saints." Rev 13:3-10.
Notice the points I made bold and was underlined. These points show (1) The people worshiped the beast, and (2) it will be the entire world that do so, except those that are written in the book of life of the Lamb. The danger is that many Christians forget that Satan has been working hard down through the ages to overthrow the Kingdom of God and his greatest desire is to be worshipped and to rule all the earth, even over God Himself. Although many Christians are in their comfort zone, thinking all is well, Satan is hard at work to accomplish his goals. Just as he tried to pervert the very lineage that Jesus the Messiah was to be born from, which is covered in chapter two of my book "The Great Apostasy". We also read in Matthew 2:16 that Satan used Herod the Roman ruler to try and kill Jesus the Messiah as a child. (You might want to read the links at the end of this study.)
To Worship:
Let's take a good look at what is truly meant by the term "worship" so we
can understand. The American heritage Dictionary renders Worship as…"The reverent
love and allegiance accorded a deity, songs or prayers, or other forms by
which this love is expressed." Now when we look at the Greek word for worship
in Rev. 14:9 it is "proskuneo", and it means to fawn, crouch, or prostrate
oneself in homage, or to reverence and adore. Please keep this meaning in
mind as we go through the preceding scriptures because this is what those
who worship the Beast will do in the very near future, and that's why their
names are not written in the book of life.
What does the book of revelation note as the reason God will
destroy this present evil world system?
"And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write, 'These things says
He who has the sharp two-edged sword: I know your works, and where you dwell,
where Satan's throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My
faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed
among you, where Satan dwells. But I have a few things against you, because
you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to
put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed
to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. "Thus you also have those
who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate." Rev 2:12-15.
And in Rev 2:20-23 we read; "Nevertheless I have a few things against
you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess,
to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things
sacrificed to idols. And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality,
and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who
commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their
deeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know
that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one
of you according to your works."
What Should We Do?
Repent! Just what does that mean? To repent is to turn and go
the other way, but is that all we should do? Should we also help others understand
how their actions or decisions in life can cause negative results? Yes we
need to do that but at the same time understand that God gives us free will
choice so we have only a few ways to try and help others. Let's read what
is recorded concerning these last days in Rev 2:4-5. "Nevertheless I
have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore
from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will
come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place-- unless you
repent." This is a warning from God and if we heed it we will not regret
it. It is a fact that we can't and will not change some in these last days
and their ways will cause great horrific events that will even stop some men's
heart as they look upon it however scripture reveals that God will protect
those that are His.
How many churches are in this Nation? Thousands of churches claiming to worship Jesus the Christ are throughout this Nation, and how many people attend services every Sabbath or Sunday? How many bibles are sold every day and most importantly; how many ministers are working with their congregations during the week? Are most people just going to church because they feel bad if they don't or because their children are on the church's baseball team? Are the ministers teaching just what is political correctness, or are they preaching against same sex marriage? Are they preaching that abortion is murder? Are they teaching against the Harry Potter materials teaching that these books will lead our children into Witchcraft? Are they teaching good family values that will help all to understand the importance of the family structure where there is respect for the parents and the parents should respect their children? Are people worshipping pagan gods in their church and believing they are worshipping Jesus? Why do you go to church?
Do you believe your bible teaches anything relevant to our day with all the computers, cars, TVs, I-Pods, and cell-phones? The answer is that our conduct in any time period is relevant because it is our conduct that determines if we survive. If we continue down the path of "self first" we will not be able to sustain the very system that we have created. According to the book of Revelation many will repent but many will not as well. We find recorded in Rev 9:20-21. "But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk. And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts." Notice that in these end times the world will be worshipping demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood!
How important is it that you repent and come to the true Messiah for protection during the great tribulation and salvation for eternity? Let's read what John wrote in Rev 19:20-21. for the answer…"Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh." So why does God allow evil to continue now? Because it's mankind that's at fault and even by doing nothing to stop those that hate God and His good ways makes us guilty and worthy of the tribulations. Many will repent as John wrote in Rev. 7:9 stating that there was a number that no man could number who will come out of the great tribulation, those that washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Yes and those that were beheaded for the testimony of salvation through the Son of God. And we find recorded in Rev 15:1-2 that those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.
But we find the fate of those that loved pleasure for a season and accepted the mark of the beast in Rev 16:2-17 where the seven angels pour out their bowls of the wrath of God on them. It states…"So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.
Then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living creature in the sea died.
Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters saying: "You are righteous, O Lord, the One who is and who was and who is to be, because You have judged these things. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due." And I heard another from the altar saying, "Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments."
"Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.
Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain. They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds.
Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. "Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame." And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.
Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, "It is done!"
So we see that it is not God's fault that OUR sins have caused evil to come on our Nation. It is because we have left God and turned to many other gods for our health, happiness, and prosperity. We have come to the place where God is just in the background of our lives and only to be called on during church services or when we think we need Him. I hate to be the one that breaks this news to the world but God is not our Genie who when summoned by a person carries out the wishes of the summoner! God is ALL in ALL and He has power over every breath we take. It is in His Great love for us that He will for now continue to put up with our disrespect of Him and who He is! But never think that the day of His wrath will never come.
