The term theology is used as the study of religion but in truth it is the study of what the Catholic Church has deemed as truth. The doctrine of "Tradition" is the Roman Catholic Church teaching that the doctrines that are not found explicitly taught by the apostles but taught later by other men, after the Bible was written, are nevertheless truths from God. Therefore they teach that these "other" doctrines are as important as clear biblical teachings. The Catholic Church teach that the apostles simply chose not to explicitly write such beliefs to the churches as New Testament Scripture. Although there is no explicit proof that the apostles believed these doctrines, the Roman Catholic Church proposes that the apostles indeed did believe them. (A quote from MF Blume.)
The majority of Protestant denominations do not accept many Catholic Church doctrine, which also gives credence to the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception, the doctrine of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and of the literal flesh and blood in the communion Eucharist, but the Protestants have nevertheless accepted the customs of Christ-Mass, and the Trinity doctrine even though this Trinity doctrine is no more explicitly taught in scripture than the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception. Protestants have even accepted the cross from the Catholic church but we find from research that the Catholic Church copied the symbol from the Pagan Druids who made crosses in this form to represent the Thau (god). The Protestants also have accepted the doctrine of Easter and worship towards the sun as it rises on the very day the sun god was worshipped. Back in 1893 we find that they even went so far as to demand that the Catholic Church allow them to worship on Sunday rather than the commanded seventh day Sabbath. To accept one doctrine and then throw out the other, when both are from the same foundation of the doctrine of "Tradition", as opposed to explicit scriptural teaching, is to act most contradictorily in this author’s humble opinion.
The Protestant reformation broke the power that the Pope had over the people and with the freedom of our constitution we now have a multitude of men competing with each other all with a little church empire they control, and each "always claiming to be the true church that God is working with here on earth, and each unwilling to change even when shown they are teaching error. It is known as the "Christian religion." Or what I call "The Great Apostasy"which you can read the book for free on the Master's table web site. Remember the admonition of the apostle Paul who stated; "But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may cut off the opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the things of which they boast. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works." 2 Cor 11:12-15
Question: How should the Christian Church be Organized according to the instructions of the head of His Church...Our Lord Jesus the Messiah?
In antiquity they used the Temples as a place where the god dwelt and people had to go to the temple to contact the god. This was true in the Hebrew religion as well however after the New Covenant was established by the shed blood of the Messiah the priesthood was done away with and the Church era began which is a group of people called out of this world by the Holy Father and brought into the body of the Messiah who is the ONLY head of the assembly. These called out people are baptized by FULL emersion in water for an outward show of an inward faith in reliance on the blood sacrifice of the Messiah for salvation. To rely on the blood of the Messiah the Lamb of God is what the word FAITH truly means.
After the person is taught about the Gospel message which is the teaching concerning the coming kingdom of God (Not going to heaven after we die.) and then belief and acceptance of the blood sacrifice of the Holy Lamb of God then the Holy Spirit which is the power of God helps those called out of this world to open their minds to the truth of God and the message that the Holy Father gave Jesus to deliver to us.
Remember this fantastic truth... Jesus gave us the example of the true structure He wanted in His Church, so let's read what is recorded in John 15:5. "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."
The truth from God is that a vine is the best way to depict God's type of government in the church because this type of structure puts Christ as the Lord and gives everyone who truly follows Him the opportunity to serve in many ways, and lay up treasures in heaven without contriving and backbiting. Notice that Jesus states that He wants us ALL to be involved and to bear much fruit, not just the ministers or teaching Elders. This may shock many Christians, however, church should be for fellowship and learning from those the Messiah have given the gift of understanding and teaching. Church should not be for the purpose of worship with the exception of singing truthful songs to God in praise. Prayer and worship should be done as Jesus stated when he instructed that we should do so after going into our closet (A Place that is private.) and then worship and pray to God Who then will hear and reward the believer openly.
Jesus Himself even stated that we should not have a church where men lord over the brethren in Matt 20:25-28 which states... "But Jesus called them to Himself and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant and whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave-- just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."
Although it is recorded in the New Testament on how Jesus Himself wanted His church structured thousands of ministers and others that are called "pillars of the Church" want to be the ones directing (Ruling over) the people and collecting their money which those in charge state that God requires a 10th part of your income when that is just not the teachings of the New covenant!
Brethren always remember that the Church of the true Messiah is not a building where a god dwells but those that accepts the calling of the Holy Father are members of Jesus' body which is the church. We all should work together without being too concerned who gets the credit because God's Holy Spirit should be where we get our instruction as it is the Spirit of Truth. How can we expect anyone to come to Jesus as their savior or believe the truth if Christians are so divided that they can't even in some cases speak to each other? There are thousands of churches across America and they do not agree and that is just what I have worked on for many years but people are deceived and many will not change till God sends the two witnesses who will use the power of the Holy Spirit to open the minds of "A number that no man can number."
