Be Humble

No one is more humble than a new born babe,
and there's nothing more humbling than the grave. Although we all start and
end the same, we forget
as we play life's game.
We place our own importance on what we possess
then
we look down on those who have less. We come to believe this world was ours
all along, but my friend we couldn't be more wrong.
Consider all the Kings of old and ask who
possess their lands and gold.
Or just look at the great mountains in their majesty, or the vastness of the
deep blue sea.
Look at the grand-canyon as her river cuts
it's path by and by, and if that's not enough, look up at the night sky.
Then you will feel humble as a new born babe, or perhaps as humble as an old
man going to his grave.
Yes, although we all start and end the same,
we forget
as we play life's game.
We place our own importance on what we possess
then we look down on those
who have less. We come to believe this world was ours all along, but my friend
we couldn't be more wrong.
We're only pilgrims passing through, and none of this really belongs to me or
you.
So you see now my friend
it only matters
what we do from now till then, not what we posses or think we might win, so
be humble as a new born babe, and don't forget the old man as he goes to his
grave.
Yes don't forget the old man as he goes to his grave the old man as he goes to his grave.
May God Bless you all.
