The Master Potter

Just what does it mean to be the Master Potter?
Many do not truly understand the position God possess. Although the human mind can’t really grasp the concept I like to explain it this way. If I paint an oil painting of a beautiful landscape and someone destroyed it by fire they would be in the wrong and could even go to jail. Now if I destroyed the same artwork by fire I would be within my rights. The same work and the same destruction yet it depends on who is the destroyer because it depends on who is the creator.

We find it recorded in scripture where God Himself commanded Pharaoh to let the people of God go and then God hardened his heart and then because Pharaoh did not let them go God punished him for it.

It is written in Romans chapter 9 verse 15 that God said to Moses, "I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion." And in verse 20-21; it states “But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, "Why have you made me like this?” Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?”

Then in verse 19 it is recorded; “You will say to me then, "Why does God still find fault? For who has resisted His will?"

The answer is what Eve and then Adam did which was to disobey God and this is the pivot of ALL sins brethren. It is important to never forget that one very important fact! If you do then you will never understand sin and the fact that God has the right to use one vessel for honor and the other for dishonor. Remember it is written, that God stated "Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.”

Yes God is great and wonderful and He is in complete control of all creation and has the absolute right to do as He pleases. Although humans may say it is not fair to harden the heart and then punish for the actions that come from it, however I ask do you have complete control of the land you possess or the animals in your charge? Yes we can train a dog to protect us and then have it killed for hurting a child without legal consequences.

Now some may want to argue the fine points and if that is the case I say as did the apostle Paul; “But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, "Why have you made me like this?"

Here is an undeniable fact my friends. No one can truly worship the almighty Creator till they come to deeply understand who He truly is. We must not forget that The Messiah is the judge over all things and it’s His discretion that counts because my friend He is not bound by the law just as He is all in all and is not subject to any bounds what-so-ever.
